The CURI Digital Media Arts Center works with young and at risk students who show proficiency in social media and have an ambition towards working in broadcast and other media. Our goal is to develop their talents through our digital media arts center to enter the world of journalism and other mass/social media.
Turn your passion for Podcasting into something more
The CURI Digital Media Arts Center will give you hands on experience and training with experienced podcasters, camera operators and other professionals. Some of the things we will teach are:
- Studio etiquette
- How to conduct an interview
- How to do digital marketing
- How to do professional audio
- Camera
- Editing
- How to use social media apps
- How to work in a soundproof room with an audio mixing board
Our Collaborators
Our objective in working with our collaborators is to create a communications portal that will adhere to the new and ever-expanding social media environment. Our priority is to help promote the NW corner of CT and inform our communities about the essential services that are available in our region.
As a subsidiary of Culture 4 a Cause, CURI Digital Media Arts and our collaborators aim to create credible, data driven content so people can make better decisions for their families, their businesses and their communities.
